LIXIL Africa is proud to showcase its exceptional sanitaryware products at The Aquarelle, the latest luxury residential property development in Port Elizabeth. Situated on Marine Drive with expansive views across the Indian Ocean, the newly revamped Aquarelle is now one of the most modern and elegant apartment buildings along the Port Elizabeth beachfront.
The Aquarelle comprises 23 top-end apartments that offer a natural, intuitive flow and feature carefully selected interior details. All of the units are sea facing and have been fitted with floor-to-ceiling glass panels. The views are enough to take your breath away and put you at ease in the same instant.
The project was brought to life together with Port Elizabeth-based LYT Architects, Grinaker LTA project managers and Jan van Heerden Plumbers, all of whom are experts in their fields.
The bathrooms and kitchens were designed to full LIXIL Africa specification. Locally produced Vaal and Cobra products were used for the pans, basins and baths, and world-renowned GROHE products were specifically requested for the taps.
Two different tap ranges were installed: the GROHE BauLoop, with its easy-to-install rapid system, was placed in the majority of the apartments, and the superior GROHE Allure range was selected for the penthouse suites. Allure products feature impressive innovations, including the GROHE StarLight chrome finish, the GROHE EcoJoy 5.0 l/min flow limiter and GROHE QuickFix installation system. Luxurious Cobra freestanding baths were also installed in the penthouse bathrooms. The design of the ceramics and brassware was carefully matched to create a seamless and elegant aesthetic.
